Once upon a time in 2004, in a land called SW Virginia, I went to college at Virginia Tech and managed to convince them to give me an Accounting and Information Systems degree with a minor in Psychology.
Soon after, I temporarily misplaced my brains and went into tax accounting at a local firm after interning with one of the Big Four. 1.5 years later I found my brains and left the industry. In 2006, I became an Executive Assistant to the CEO of an IT services company, which is arguably when I really lost my mind. In my spare time, I watch zombie movies and work as an Assistant Event Coordinator for a regional event planner. I enjoy fashion, fitness, nutrition, bad SyFy movies, and overall health and just finished my first year of triathlon.
Right around the time I pulled off my escape from college, I started gaining weight to the tune of 15 lbs., which doesn’t seem like much in the grand scheme of things but on my frame it is. After yo-yoing for several years, I finally lost the weight from October 2008-January 2009 and have managed to keep it off since then through diet and exercise (running and triathlon). This blog journals the feeding of my exercise habit and my stomach.
Pictures to follow.
